Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan visited the newly established laboratory of “Reactive Science” company

On February 13, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA Ruben Simonyan visited the newly established laboratory of "Reactive Science" company in Charentsavan.

The team of "Reactive Science" company is one of the winners of "Neruzh 3.0" diaspora tech startup program implemented in 2022, which won the second place as a result of the jury's evaluation, receiving a grant of 15 million AMD. The idea presented by the company was to manufacture laboratory reagents used for molecular biology (PCR), biochemistry and immunodiagnostic testing.

The company is already taking the first steps to implement the idea, the laboratory has been already established, the production is expected to start soon.

Ruben Simonyan had a tour at the laboratory and got familiarized with the equipment and ongoing works. The director of the company, Vahe Ohanyan, who moved from the USA as a result of the “Neruzh” program and settled in Armenia, presented the possibilities of the newly established laboratory and the equipment acquired by the grant received.

The project is a pilot, currently being localized in Armenia, with plans to expand in the region and around the world.
