The goal of DigiWeek is to bring together leading technology experts and policy makers from around the world to discuss investment opportunities and technology advancement.

Description

From October 27 to November 3, 2021, the “DigiWeek 2021” event was held in Armenia for the first time.

“DigiWeek 2021” was implemented with the cooperation of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the RA and the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises.

“DigiWeek 2021” was filled with topics related to scientific and technological innovation, artificial intelligence and venture capital financing.

“DigiWeek 2021” featured a one-week series of technology events with a packed agenda: “Talent Matters”, “Digital Transformation: Connecting with Tomorrow”, “Digitec Expo”, “Digitec Summit”, “Koreez” awards ceremony, “Science and Sustainability Summit”, “DigiWeek”: artificial intelligence” summit, “DigiWeek: venture summit”.

Target group

Leading specialists and policymakers in the technology field.

Additional information

• As part of “DigiWeek 2021”, the annual “Digitec Expo” event was held for the 16th time, which became the largest ever: more than 100 companies took part, presenting their products and services at more than 60 stands.
• In 2021, the “Digi Tech Summit” was held for the first time, which was attended by heads of international companies, government officials, famous scientists from around the world.
• The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the RA, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Union of Operators of Armenia presented the event “Digital Transformation – Connecting with Tomorrow”.
• “Hyetech Showcase” in Yerevan and Gyumri presented how to find a talented workforce in Armenia and beyond.
• As part of the “Koreez” competition, the best students and teachers of Armenia were awarded, as well as those who showed high success in the subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
• Three thematic “DigiWeek” summits – “DigiWeek21 AI Summit”, “DigiWeek21 Venture Summit”, “DigiWeek21 Science and Sustainability Summit”- brought together the best experts in the field of science, artificial intelligence and venture capital to exchange experience with young entrepreneurs.
