Minister Robert Khachatryan received the representatives of the World Bank

On October 6, the RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan received the representatives of the World Bank’s “Trade Promotion and Quality Infrastructure” (TPQI) Project Implementation Support Mission headed by Carolin Geginat, Country Manager of the World Bank for Armenia.

During the meeting, the progress of the implementation of TPQI and the possibilities of starting new projects with the World Bank were discussed.

The Minister and the representatives of the World Bank addressed the works being carried out within the framework of TPQI, particularly, in the direction of construction of the “Engineering City”, the reconstruction of the new building of the Gyumri branch of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, the foundation of the Supercomputer Center, the formation of the National Venture Fund.

Minister Robert Khachatryan mentioned the positive progress observed in the implementation of the TPQI Project and emphasized that the realized programs are in the focus of attention, he also expressed his willingness to continue the cooperation in the proposed new directions.
