Postcard redemption ceremony with a single postage stamp on Ervand Kochar's 125th birth anniversary

On June 21, in the Ervand Kochar Museum, a postcard redemption with single postage stamp was performed, dedicated to "Prominent Armenians: Ervand Kochar's 125th birth anniversary."

The redemption ceremony was conducted by Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff of the RA Prime Minister, Gevorg Mantashyan, Deputy Minister of the RA High Tech Ministry, Alfred Kocharyan, Deputy Minister of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Arman Abrahamyan, the Deputy Chief Executive Director of "HayPost," Hovik Musayelyan, Chairman of the Armenian Philatelic Association, and Karine Kochar, Director of Yervand Kochar Museum.

The postage stamp features an image of the distinguished Armenian artist, sculptor, People's Artist of the ASSR and USSR Yervand Kochar (1899-1979 on one of his sculptures.

The postcard illustrates Yervand Kochar's sculptures "Head Sculpture" (1933), "Melancholy" (1959) and "David of Sassoun" (1959), the inscription "ARMENIAN ARTIST, SCULPTOR" in Armenian and English, as well as "Self-portrait" (1936), " The Curse of War" (1962) images and "125 ANNIVERSARY" inscription in Armenian and English.
