Souvenir sheet with one stamp dedicated to the theme “100th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Armenian Cinema”
On November 15, a souvenir sheet with one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “100th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Armenian Cinema” has been cancelled and put into circulation.
The souvenir sheet with one stamp was cancelled by the Head of Post Division of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Tsovinar Galstyan, the Chief Executive Officer of “HayPost” CJSC Arayik Abrahamyan, the President of the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia Harutyun Khachatryan, the President of the Philatelists’ Armenian Association Hovik Musayelyan, the Vice-President of the Philatelists’ Armenian Association Hayk Demoyan.
The postage stamp has a unique format, it is transparent and made in a form of film having a self-adhesive backing.
The postage stamp of the souvenir sheet depicts the logotype of “Armenfilm” film studio, the left part of the souvenir sheet depicts a movie camera as well as the inscriptions “100TH ANNIVERSARY” and “ARMENIAN CINEMA” in Armenian and English languages.
