A joint statement was signed on the observance of the provisions of the Agreement on Cooperation between RA and RF in the field of Mass Telecommunications
On December 14, 2023, bilateral consultations were held in Yerevan between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation on the issue of observance of the provisions of the Agreement on Cooperation in the field of Mass Telecommunications signed between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the Armenian side noted that the RA Television and Radio Commission found violations of Article 5 of the Agreement. The Russian side accepted that fact, and as a result a joint statement was signed.
The following was recorded:
1. The Russian side accepted the fact of violations found by the Armenian side.
2. It was agreed to take steps towards the proper observance of all points of the Agreement.
