At the closing event of the latest iGorts round, Gevorg Mantashyan emphasized the importance of Diaspora supporters in achieving the goals set by the state and government

The First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Mantashyan, attended the closing ceremony of the 2023-2024 round of iGorts, organized as part of the “iGorts: Involvement of Diaspora Armenian Specialists in the RA State Administration" initiative.

In his welcoming remarks, the First Deputy Minister Gevorg Mantashyan discussed the program's pro-Armenian mission and emphasized the importance of Diaspora supporters in achieving the goals and objectives set by the Armenian State and Government. He also expressed hope that the experience gained and the contributions made to the state administration system were valuable and effective.

Zareh Sinanyan, Chief Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs, also delivered welcome remarks. He congratulated the program’s graduates and happily noted that, as in previous years, most participants have chosen to continue their lives and work in the Homeland, showcasing one of the best examples of consolidating the potential of the Diaspora. Zareh Sinanyan thanked the participants and expressed hope that the program has positively impacted their lives and will continue to do so.

The 2023-2024 round of iGorts provided 50 Diaspora Armenian specialists from 18 countries the opportunity to work in various RA state administration structures for one year. They contributed their experience and knowledge to improving and developing relevant fields, policies, and programs, in line with the requirements set by state administration structures.

As part of 2023-2024 round of iGorts, participants Samson Karapetyan and Sargis Heiser from Russia and Germany respectively, have been involved in the Digitalization Department of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia
