RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan took part in the opening of the International Defense Conference (IDC)

Within the framework of his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA Robert Khachatryan took part in the opening of the International Defense Conference held within the framework of the “IDEX&NAVDEX 2023” exhibition.

The UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs delivered an opening speech at the event. The conference included high-level discussions on the current state and development of the industry, and was attended by ministers and senior government officials from around the world. Four panel discussions were organized within the framework of the conference.

Minister Robert Khachatryan took part in the second panel discussion “Keeping pace”. In his speech, the Minister touched upon the actual challenges of technological progress, the importance of the role of the state in the development of society, the ever-increasing influence of advanced technologies and a number of other issues.

It should be noted that on February 18, a delegation headed by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA Robert Khachatryan left for a working visit to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the International Defense Conference and defence exhibition IDEX 2023.

Under the coordination of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the RA, Armenia will present a joint pavilion at the IDEX 2023 exhibition, which will present solutions offered by 18 organizations in the field of defense and armaments.
