First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA participated in the “Global CyberDrill” event
The First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA Gevorg Mantashyan participated in the «Global CyberDrill» event of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which was held within the framework of the GISEC 2024 conference and exhibition, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the event, the First Deputy Minister participated in the high-level roundtable-meeting entitled “Global Cyber Resilience: Strengthening International Collaboration for a Secure, Interconnected World”, “Critical Infrastructure. Strengthening Collective Defense at the session on” and “Development of cyber security capabilities within the framework of responsible state behavior” discussion.
The ITU “Global CyberDrill 2024” event was organized by the ITU Telecommunications Development Office (BDT) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cyber Security Council.
Over the past decade, ITU has organized more than 45 “CyberDrills” in collaboration with more than 160 countries around the world, promoting cyber security capabilities through regional cooperation.
The main goal of the global “CyberDrill” is to strengthen the cybersecurity preparedness and resilience of the Cyber Security Response Team (CIRT: Cyber Incident Response Team) community worldwide.
