At Sevan AgriTech Summit, Gevorg Mantashyan highlighted the advanced technologies in agricultural production when it comes to increasing productivity and national competitiveness

Gevorg Mantashyan, the First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry attended the Sevan AgriTech Summit on July 24.

Gevorg Mantashyan underscored the importance of the event and noted that all the necessary resources will be provided to make a success in the digital transformation of Armenia's agriculture and the use of high technologies in modern farming.

The First Deputy Minister emphasized high technologies in farm production in the context of increasing productivity and national competitiveness. Moreover, he highlighted the demand of applying new technologies in business through continuous education.

Gevorg Mantashyan participated in a panel discussion under the title of "Strategic Role and Significance of AgriTech: Challenges and Vision of Armenia's Development."

Sevan AgriTech Summit is held for the first time this year and aims to promote the interaction of agro-technological leaders, present international best practices and enhance the use of digital and innovative technologies in the Armenian agricultural sector.

Sevan Agritech Summit featured the following topics: digital solutions and leading digital technologies in agriculture, prominent agro-biotechnologies and geospatial technologies for the development of agriculture.
