Two new stamps dedicated to the theme “Armenia-Slovakia joint issue”
On February 28, at the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the RA two stamps dedicated to the theme “Armenia-Slovakia Joint Issue” were issued.
The cancellation was carried out by Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA Davit Sahakyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Armenia Miroslav Hacek, Secretary General of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Boris Sahakyan, Chief Executive Officer of HayPost Arayik Abrahamyan, President of the Armenian Association of Philatelists Hovik Musaelyan.
One of the postage stamps depicts one of the unique examples of Armenian architecture in the Syunik region – the Tatev Monastery (IX century), and the other – Saint Gevorg Church (IX century) in Nitrianska Blatnica settlement of the Slovak Republic.
The author of the brand design is Petr Augustových.
