A joint session of the RCC Postal Communication Commission and RCC Council of Postal Communication Operators was held in Yerevan
On August 8, the 55/44th joint session of the Postal Communication Commission of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communication (RCC), the Council of Postal Communication Operators and their working groups was held in Yerevan.The session was chaired by Nurudin Mukhitdinov, the Director General of the Executive Committee of the RCC.
Davit Sahakyan, the Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, welcomed the participants of the session, stressing that it is a great honour for the Armenian side to host the event in Yerevan.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the post was, is and remains a link that connects and unites people, because it not only delivers important goods and information, but also ensures the commitment to the international postal exchange between all countries, and the ongoing events contribute to the development of regional cooperation and the strengthening of a unified approach for the development of the post and communications between the national operators of the countries.
The chief executive director of “HayPost” company Arayik Abrahamyan also welcomed the participants of the session, referring to the discussion of the issue of new actors joining the postal networks. Arayik Abrahamyan noted that the postal business must adapt to the new conditions and realities.
During the session, “HayPost” made a presentation on the implementation of the work plan of the working group on the development of postal products, e-commerce and their digitalization for the period 2022-2025.
