The first large-scale state platform e-work.am was launched

On May 3, the first large-scale public platform for finding and offering work, e-work.am, was officially launched. The platform aims to create a bridge between the employer and the job seeker, to consolidate vacancies in the Republic and to promote relations between the state-employer-job-seekers

A panel discussion on "Employment challenges in the era of digitalization" was held, which was attended by the First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan.

In his speech, the First Deputy Minister touched on data policy, in particular data collection, comparability, interoperability and data protection in cyberspace.

Gevorg Mantashyan also presented the “Yes em” national system for identification, the legislative reforms being undertaken, stressed the importance of ongoing work aimed at developing human talents and abilities in the context of the labor market, and spoke about the retraining and capacity building programs carried out by the Ministry.

As part of the event, a job fair was also organized, which was attended by a number of leading employers.

The platform was launched by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, developed by the “Nork” Technology Center.
