Consultation on Developing Domestic Military Industry: Ministers of Defense and High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia met with heads of military industrial companies

On December 20, a session was held at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, co-chaired by Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, focusing on the development of the domestic military industry.

The session brought together heads and representatives of several Armenian military-industrial companies.

Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan underscored the importance of fostering the industry’s progress, reaffirming the Ministry’s steadfast support and dedication to resolving challenges. He stressed the value of maintaining open, transparent, and regular collaborative dialogues with military-industrial companies.

In his opening remarks, Defense Minister Papikyan welcomed the attendees, highlighting the active involvement of Armenian military-industrial companies in the production of weapons and ammunition, as well as diverse technological methods. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fully supporting the growth and advancement of the industry.

Industry leaders and company heads presented an overview of their achievements, ongoing work, and future objectives for the upcoming year.
