Welcome note by Gevorg Mantashyan to participants of the cyber security event

Gevorg Mantashyan, the First Deputy Minister of the RA High-Tech Industry, on May 21 participated in a workshop under the title "Cyber ​​Security Prospects: Uncovering cybersecurity trends, threats and technologies."

The First Deputy Minister welcomed the participants by attaching a great importance to the event, which provides a platform for discussing the important and sensitive topic. Such discussions aim to create a safe and secure space for all members of society, as the cybersecurity is a broad and comprehensive subject, involving all layers of society.

Gevorg Mantashyan emphasized the effective cooperation with the US Embassy, ​​particularly as part of strengthening capacity of the national CERT team. Moreover, he underscored the initiative of developing a new cybersecurity law.

The US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Kristina Quinn also gave a welcome speech.

Furthermore, Trellix cybersecurity company presented their experience and solutions in this context.

The workshop was organized by the US Embassy in the Republic of Armenia in cooperation with Trelix.
