Cooperation Opportunities with the Sultanate of Oman were Discussed
First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Mantashyan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Armenia, Hamoud Al Tuwaih (residence in Moscow), and the Honorary Consul of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Armenia, Perch Ohanyan.
Gevorg Mantashyan, highlighting the importance of developing Armenian-Omani relations, presented the Ministry's history, areas of activity, strategic targets, and implemented programs, emphasizing that the Ministry is ready for dialogue and cooperation in all sectors.
Hamoud Al Tuwaih spoke about the significance of Oman Vision 2040 and noted that Oman places great importance on the development of technologies. In particular, the work on information technology and digital transformation, carried out under the authority of the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology of Oman, is one of the country's most important strategic directions.
The parties discussed various opportunities for cooperation in information technologies, cybersecurity, digitalization, artificial intelligence, space technologies, and other areas.
Reciprocal participation in sectoral events and activities, as well as the establishment of cooperative relations between companies, was emphasized.
An agreement was reached to take steps towards implementing the cooperation agenda.
