What is the License for space activities?

It is an official permission confirming the right to engage in space activities, as well as an official document confirming that right.

Space activity which is subject to licensing also includes the production, repair, modernization, disposal of space objects and (or) equipment, conducting research and (or) tests using space equipment, receiving and processing remote satellite data of the earth, launching space objects, management over them during landing and flight, creation and operation of space infrastructures.

Legal entities involved in space activity.

How can apply?

Submit.

• Application for obtaining a license.
• The list of activities and services provided during space activities.
• Information on international cooperation (agreement, contract, memorandum).
• The plan for the organization of space activities, which includes the standards for the storage, protection and control of all the documents and electronic carriers related to the implementation of works (service provision), information on having employees with the necessary professional knowledge and abilities.

You can submit the necessary documents to the licensing authority:

Option 1. manually.

Sumbit the completed and signed documents to the employee of the relevant department of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia (it is necessary to appear with an ID (identity document)).

Option 2. by electronic system.

In accordance with the procedure established by theRA Government Decision No 1283-N dated September 24th, 2010.

What is the next step for the application?

The licensing authority issues the license within 23 working day after the applicant submits the documents in accordance with the procedure or in the presence of the prescribed grounds provided for in the Article 29 of the Law “On Licensing”, rejects the issuance of the license.
