Digitalization, Broadband, Artificial Intelligence: Exploring Opportunities for Expanded Cooperation with the World Bank
On November 26, Gevorg Mantashyan, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, and Gevorg Meliksetyan, Deputy Minister, met with representatives of the World Bank (WB) mission, led by Michel Rojin. The meeting was also attended by Caroline Geginat, Country Manager of the World Bank for Armenia.
Gevorg Mantashyan highlighted the strong and effective partnership between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia and the World Bank, noting its potential for further development and expansion.
The discussions focused on the activities of the WB mission in the region, particularly in the areas of digitalization, broadband, AI, cybersecurity, and the WB’s support and investment programs aimed at fostering inclusive economic growth.
A broad range of topics related to potential cooperation on developing broadband infrastructure was also addressed.
