“Surround yourself with those who lift you up, who believe in your vision as fervently as you do:” A note of welcome from Mkhitar Hayrapetyan to RAU graduates
On July 20, Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan attended the ceremony of awarding diplomas to the 2023-2024 academic year graduates of the Russian-Armenian University.
The Minister extended his congratulations to the graduating cohort on this promising event, wished them a happy journey ahead, and noted that during this time they may encounter obstacles and challenges, which they should be ready to face.
“There will be moments when the path seems steep and the goal distant. You may hear voices that whisper doubts, insisting that your dreams are impossible, and you should settle for less. These voices may come from strangers, acquaintances, or even those closest to you. But remember, it is not the naysayers who define your limits- but you. Surround yourself with those who lift you up, who believe in your vision as fervently as you do. These are the people who will cheer you on when the going gets tough, who will lend you their strength when yours is waning. Keep close those who see your potential and support your aspirations.
As a member of the RA Government that co-owns and co-funds the Russian-Armenian University, I highly value the role of the University in developing and training highly qualified specialists in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, Biomedicine and Pharmacy," said Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, addressing the graduates.
The graduates received a warm welcome from Edward Sandoyan, the Rector of the University, professors and parents who wished them a good luck on their new journey.
The Russian Armenian University, which has been operating in Armenia since 1997, has trained many generations in its 8 institutes: Mathematics and Informatics, Engineering Physics, Biomedicine and Pharmacy, Economics and Business, Law and Politics, Humanities, Media, Advertising and Cinema, Oriental Studies.
It is noteworthy that a publishing house works close to the University, that releases scholarly literature, Armenian and Russian classics.
