Cooperation Prospects with China in Tech Sector were Discussed
On December 11, the First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Mantashyan, hosted a delegation led by Zhao Qiuyan, Second-Level Inspector of the Eurasian Department of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.
The meeting focused on exploring new prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of high technologies.
The Chinese delegation presented several areas for expanding cooperation, with a particular emphasis on the standardization and certification of high-tech products.
Gevorg Mantashyan underscored the activities towards developing a cooperation roadmap between Armenia and China. Opportunities for reciprocal participation in telecommunications, digitalization, cybersecurity, space technologies, R&D, and sectoral exhibitions were also discussed.
Both sides reaffirmed the significant potential for expanding technological cooperation between Armenia and China and expressed a shared commitment to investing efforts in furthering this partnership.
