Minister Robert Khachatryan met with the Minister of State for Egyptian Military Production

Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Robert Khachatryan, in the framework of the working visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, met with Mohammed Salahaddin Mustafa, Minister of State for Egyptian Military Production.

During the meeting, Robert Khachatryan introduced the main directions of the Ministry's activities, industry projects and goals, works implemented.

Mustafa Salahaddin welcomed Minister Robert Khachatryan and the Armenian delegation, emphasized the notable development in bilateral relations with the political leaders’ support, highlighting the visit of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and President Vahagn Khachaturyan's participation in the Climate Change Conference (COP27) held in 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh.

The parties emphasized the Armenian-Egyptian friendly and high-level relations, talked about the prospects of cooperation in the field of military industry.

Minister Robert Khachatryan expressed the readiness of the Armenian side to cooperate with the Egyptian side in the fields of military industry and production, as well as in exchanging professional experience, beneficial to the development goals of both countries, emphasizing the Armenian-Egyptian historical and strong friendship.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize mutual visits of specialists to learn about the technological and productive capabilities of both countries, to develop effective cooperation mechanisms.

Minister of State for Egyptian Military Production visited the Armenian pavilion at “EDEX 2023”, got acquainted with the presented military exhibits.
