Domestic Military Production is Crucial: Mkhitar Hayrapetyan Visits Another Defense Company

On September 4, the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited another military-industrial company, that specializes in manufacturing and production of unmanned aerial systems.

The product range presented includes the manufacturing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and their components, production and maintenance of UAVs, development of UAV control systems, software, metal parts, as well as composite materials.

While presenting the devices, the head of the company mentioned that some of their technologies utilize machine learning, which helps maintain their unique position in the market by offering a wide range of applications.

Minister Hayrapetyan highlighted the importance of having domestic production of military equipment and incorporating the latest technologies. In that context, the Minister emphasized the Government's special attention to the sector and expressed readiness to address existing challenges with both situational measures and systemic solutions to ensure the industry's development.

The meeting concluded with several important agreements aimed at effectively addressing current issues and elevating the collaboration to a new level.
