Info Session: RA MHTI Grant Programs

For the purpose of presenting 2024 grant programs of the RA Ministry of High-tech Industry, an info session was held on August 8 at the AI9 startup campus.

Ruben Simonyan, the Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia made a welcome speech. He emphasized the importance of such meetings making it possible to share the accomplished projects, address the current concerns and ideas through straightforward communication with sector representatives.

Presentations were made on the "Market Access" component of the "Idea to Business" program and the "Capacity Building" component of the “University-Private Sector Cooperation for Training Specialists” program. Specifically, program goals, steps for filling out the application in ARMEPS electronic system, terms of participation and the list of necessary documents were introduced as well. 

"Market Access" component of the "Idea to Business" program will provide funding opportunities to start-up and newly emerging companies, whose ideas or products can create a value in high technology and (or) offer solutions using technology to address current issues and challenges. The deadline for application submission has been extended until September 16, 2024.

The "Capacity Building" component of the “University-Private Sector CoopThe eration for Training Specialists” program is aimed at meeting the professional requirements of organizations. This program will exclusively fund capacity-building/training projects. The deadline for application submission is August 16, 2024.

Following the presentations on grant competitions, the participants had a chance to approach the Ministry representatives with their questions in an informal setting.
