Gevorg Mantashyan highlighted the importance of digital transformation of industrial enterprises

On July 6, RA First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan took part in the international forum “Digital Transformation of Industrial Enterprises: New Business Models and Technologies”, held in Yerevan, dedicated to the trends and prospects for the introduction of digital technologies in industrial enterprises.

Gevorg Mantashyan welcomed the participants of the event, stressed the importance of holding such meetings, which are a serious platform for discussing current trends in the field, generating new ideas and working out ways of development.

The First Deputy Minister presented the activities of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia in the direction of digitalization:

“Our Ministry is developing a digitalization policy for Armenia, the main goal of which is the development of digitalization tools. The introduction of digitalization in the industry is not an aim in itself. This is a very important process that increases our competitiveness and improves production efficiency. We are closely monitoring how we can help our startups, as well as small, medium and large enterprises, offer more digital solutions,” said Gevorg Mantashyan.

The participants of the event were also welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Andrei Zarenin, Director of the Center for Strategic Development of the Republic of Armenia Karen Avagyan, General Director of Viva-MTS Armenia Armen Avetisyan and others.

The event was attended by heads and specialists of public and private organizations in Armenia and Russia, representatives of industrial enterprises and the IT sector.

During the event, topics related to the introduction of digital tools, modern solutions and digitalization developments in various industries were discussed.
