Armenia and India share a wide scope of cooperation and potential: Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received Ambassador of India to Armenia Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha
The Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha, to discuss the mutual prospects of expanding cooperation in high technologies between the two countries.
Minister Hayrapetyan highlighted the deep historical connections between Armenia and India, underscoring the vast potential for future collaboration. He noted that the recent advancements demonstrate the abundant opportunities for expanding bilateral relations in high technology.
As the meeting progressed, the interlocutors discussed new ways to strengthen the partnership, especially in digitization, research and development (R&D), and information technologies. A particular emphasis was made on the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries and advancing joint initiatives in the design and production of microelectronics and semiconductor components.
At the end of the meeting, it was discussed that the Armenian side intends to collaborate closely with the Indian partners, utilizing new tools and resources to enhance the presented proposals, which will lead to new and effective advancement in sectoral collaboration.
