A New Opportunity for Startups: The Deadline for Applications to Participate in the \"Acceleration Program\" is October 7
An "Info Session of the Acceleration Program" was held in the DigiTalks hall as part of DigiTec 2024 at the Meridian Expo Center. RA Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Ruben Simonyan and Plug and Play's Senior Corporate Innovation Manager Alfredo Gomez Soria gave a comprehensive presentation on the 26-week acceleration program for Armenian technology startups, initiated by the Ministry.
Ruben Simonyan shared his vision regarding the Ministry’s program, noting that Armenia is home to various large and small companies that began as successful startups. He emphasized the need for continuous innovation, applying new tools, expertise, culture, and working styles to further develop the industry's ecosystem.
Alfredo Gomez outlined the benefits of participating in the program, which include needs assessment, business skill development, market access, and other opportunities. "We will provide all the resources needed to elevate Armenian startups in the program to the next level, tailored to the specific needs of each one," emphasized Alfredo Gomez Soria.
Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan and Alfredo Gomez fielded questions from the attendees and reminded everyone that applications for the program will be accepted until October 7.
