MHTI announces a call for \"Market Access\" grant programme component

The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia announces a call in the scope of "From Idea to Business" grant program 2024, with total budget of AMD 290,000,000 (two hundred ninety million).

Market Access component will provide the companies with grant funding opportunities to introduce their products in the market. The goal of the programme is to create new value in high technology and (or) to offer solutions using technology to address current issues and challenges. The total grant budget is AMD 290,000,000 (two hundred ninety million), which will be allocated among the winning companies. Each of them is to receive around AMD 10,000,000 (ten million).

Only legal entities meeting the following minimum criteria are eligible to apply for this call:

  • Conduct activities in tech sector, offering a product and/or service prototype aimed at creating new value in the high-tech sector and offering technology to address current problems and challenges.
  • No grant is received (signed grant agreement) from the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia in the last 12 months as of the submission date, with the exception of grants received within the scope of "Idea Phase" competition announced under the code BTAN-DM-2023/01.
  • The applicant must have no overdue obligations in the income controlled by the tax authority, exceeding AMD 50,000 (fifty thousand) as of the submission date.
  • Does not have a bankruptcy order as of the submission date.
  • During the past three years prior to the date of submission, the founder(s) and/ or executive managers have not been involved in planning and implementation of grant programs of the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
  • During the past three years prior to the date of submission, the executive managers have not been involved in money laundering, terrorism financing, proliferation financing, human trafficking or exploitation, or crimes against legal economic activities, with the exception of cases where the conviction is removed or extinguished by law.

Applications for the call must be uploaded on www.armeps.am (guide to using the website) by 16:00, on the 39th day from the date of publishing this announcement (16.09.2024), following the link .

Following documents must be submitted in the application package:

Application statement (Annex 1) (mandatory).

Budget estimate (Annex 2) (mandatory).

Proposal (Annex 3) (mandatory).

Activity plan enclosed to the draft contract (Annex 1) (mandatory).

Copy of Company's state registration certificate (mandatory).

Letter or statement from tax authorities referring to the Company's tax obligations (mandatory).

Grant proposal presentation (pitch) (mandatory).

Copy of joint activity agreement, if the participants apply under a joint venture or a consortium. Terms for applying under a joint venture or consortium are defined in clause 2.5 of this paragraph.

Other documents as necessary.

Armenian residents should verify the bidding documents with an electronic digital signature, which is mandatory. Bidding documents verified by electronic digital signature are not sealed.
