International Youth Day: "Youth and Innovation. Technological Future of Armenia"

In Celebration of the International Youth Day, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia held an event "Youth and Innovation: The Technological Future of Armenia," in Yeghegnadzor town, Vayots Dzor region. 

Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan met with participants of the "Mass Training" program conducted under the MHTI "University-Private Sector Cooperation" grant program.

Ministry-endowed Armenian Code Academy conducts courses within the scope of IT career orientation program in Gavar, Sevan, Martuni and Vardenis towns of Gegharkunik region, Yeghegnadzor and Vayk towns of Vayots Dzor region, Kapan, Goris and Sisian towns of Syunik region, for over 300 participants.

Ruben Simonyan, welcomed the participants with a congratulatory message on International Youth Day. He noted that at every opportunity the youth can open closed doors with their knowledge and leadership, and technologies serve those opportunities.

The Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of such programs, which aim to present the whole tech specter and guide the youth in their career endeavors.

Ruben Simonyan shared his experience and journey with the young participants, urged them to do lots of reading, study languages and the latest technology trends, develop various skills in order to be competitive and in-demand specialists.

Narek Aslikyan, the Co-Founder and CEO of the Armenian Code Academy congratulated the young people on completing the course. He noted that at this stage it is worthwhile to choose a career and develop knowledge and skills in order to pursue a successful career path.

As the event came to an end, about 50 participants from Goris and Yeghegnadzor towns were awarded graduation certificates upon successful completion of course.
