RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan Meets with the Minister of Justice and Digitalization in the Republic of Estonia
During his working visit to Estonia on April 3, Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan met with Liisa-Ly Pakosta, Minister of Justice and Digitalization of the Republic of Estonia. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan and Director of the Information Systems Agency of Armenia Nerses Yeritsyan.
The parties emphasized that reciprocal visits play a key role in expanding sectoral cooperation, particularly in the fields of digital governance, cybersecurity, and the digitalization of public services. They also noted the importance of experience exchange and the development and implementation of joint programs, which can contribute to forming a long-term and stable partnership between Armenia and Estonia.
As part of the visit, the delegation led by Minister Hayrapetyan took part in various meetings and discussions outlined in the official agenda.
Topics discussed included Estonia’s ICT coordination mechanisms, approaches to public-private cooperation, international development initiatives of the Estonian Center for International Development (ESTDEV), and globally applied methodologies and toolkits for delivering state services.
The delegation also visited the Estonian Information System Authority, where they discussed issues related to the advancement of cybersecurity technologies, threat landscapes, and governance processes with Gert Auväärt, Director of Cybersecurity at the Estonian Information System Authority.
