Issues Related to Modernization and Efficiency of State Services Discussed: Gevorg Mantashyan Meets World Bank Representatives

On November 6, Gevorg Mantashyan, the First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, met with Arman Vatyan, Head of Governance for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the World Bank, and Khuram Farooq, Head of the "GovTech Global" program, to discuss activities and opportunities within the framework of the Fourth Public Sector Modernization Project (PSMP 4), funded by the World Bank.

During the meeting, the overall progress of the "PSMP 4" project was discussed, along with the status of ongoing operations, successes achieved in various fields, and expectations for future developments.

The parties also addressed topics such as civil service modernization, tax administration systems, digital services provided by state and local self-government bodies, cybersecurity and related institutional mechanisms, as well as other anticipated reforms aimed at modernizing the public administration system through selected electronic management systems. These efforts are expected to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of key state services for citizens.

Agreements were reached on future actions and cooperation to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
