Effective Collaboration Experience in Tech between Armenia and Kazakhstan: Gevorg Mantashyan received Ambassador Bolat Imanbayev
On August 28, the First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA Gevorg Mantashyan received Bolat Imanbayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia.
The interlocutors emphasized that an effective collaboration experience has been built in the technological field, offering good prospects for progress and elaboration.
As the meeting progressed, a reference was made to the protocol of the 10th session of the Armenian-Kazakh intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between HayPost and KazPost, as well as Kazakhstan’s participation in the World Congress of Innovation and Technologies (WCIT), to be held in Armenia, early in October. Moreover, importance was attached to Gevorg Mantashyan's delegation at the summit of The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) on Digital Inclusion, to be held in Astana on September 3-5.
Additional insights were provided on the potential of further development of Armenian-Kazakh relations in technological area, expanding cooperation in digitization, artificial intelligence, cyber security, and telecommunications. Forthcoming tech events to be held in the two countries were also highlighted, along with the importance of experience exchange and reciprocal visits, which will contribute to further strengthening cooperation and broadening bilateral relations.
