"Haypost" Closed Joint -Stock Company serves as the national postal operator of the Republic of Armenia.
It was founded on October 12, 1994, as a state enterprise, entrusted with operating the postal communication system of Armenia. In 1998, it was reorganized into a closed joint - stock company and currently operates under the same legal status. The shareholder and sole owner of the Company is the Republic of Armenia, on whose behalf the management of the Company is exercised by the Ministry of High -Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.
Today, "Haypost" CJSC acts as the governing body of the public postal network in Armenia, managing approximately 780 postal offices across the country, alongside an international mail exchange center, 23 regional hubs, as well as postal transport, information technology, and security infrastructures. The Company is a member of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Association of European Public Postal Operators (PostEurop).
Haypost provides universal postal services throughout the country and conducts international mail exchange under the framework of the Universal Postal Union. Furthermore, as a licensed payment and settlement institution, the Company offers a wide range of fina ncial services, including domestic and international express money transfers, as well as the collection of utility and state payments.
