Sevan Startup Summit 2025 Wraps-up the Outcome: First Deputy Minister Gevorg Mantashyan Wishes Success to the Participants

After a week of meaningful discussions, effective mentoring sessions, and proactive development programs, the Sevan Startup Summit 2025 has officially concluded. Winners of the Starter and Booster programs, as well as the Sevan Agritech Summit FireCode marathon, were awarded their prizes.

At the Summit’s closing ceremony, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan extended his best wishes to the participants for continued success. He expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the event possible, such as the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, all organizers, mentors, participants, and volunteers, whose collective efforts brought the Sevan Startup Summit 2025 to life.

Referring to the participating startups, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan emphasized that the days spent at the Summit will play a significant role in their future endeavors, particularly in testing and refining their ideas.

"You are doing your best to create solutions that make life better and more prosperous. This journey will forever stay in your memory and will surely help bring both your dreams and ours to life," he noted, wishing the participants continued success and encouraging them to join forces in pursuit of ambitious goals.

Addressing those who did not receive awards, Mantashyan urged them not to be discouraged, reminding them that this is only the beginning of a long and promising journey, with many opportunities still ahead.

The First Deputy Minister also presented the Ministry of High-Tech Industry’s new strategic initiative, the Virtual Institute of Artificial Intelligence, and encouraged startups to apply to the program once applications open soon at ai.gov.am.

More than 200 startup teams from 40 countries around the world presented their innovative ideas at the Sevan Startup Summit 2025, covering a wide range of topics, from energy efficiency to the development of agro-technologies and beyond. The Summit brought together renowned experts, representatives of investment organizations, and startup communities from across the globe.

As part of the program, experienced professionals, mentors, and startup founders delivered lectures.

This year’s Summit marked the largest edition in its history, made possible through the support of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. At the closing ceremony, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan awarded the Summit’s grand prize to the participant who received the highest overall score.
