Mkhitar Hayrapetyan Meets with Grozdan Karadjov, Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria New Prospects Outlined to Expand Cooperation
As part of the working visit to Sofia, the official meetings concluded with a discussion between the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications of Bulgaria, Grozdan Karadjov.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening Armenia-Bulgaria relations and reaffirmed their mutual readiness to continue collaboration in the fields of transport, infrastructure, communications, telecommunications, and other areas of shared interest. The parties also outlined new prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.
In his remarks, Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and constructive discussions, emphasizing the effectiveness of the dialogue held within the framework of the intergovernmental commission.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, Vardan Kostanyan, presented the investment program of the North-South Road Corridor and touched upon other key regional infrastructure projects.
The discussions concluded with a signing ceremony for the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on International Road Transport. The Protocol was signed by Deputy Minister Vardan Kostanyan on behalf of the Armenian side, and by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov on behalf of the Bulgarian side.
