RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan Receives the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia

On May 5, RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, H.E. Mr. George Sharvashidze.

Minister Hayrapetyan, emphasizing the historical ties and friendship between the peoples of the two countries, touched upon bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields, particularly in the areas of communication, telecommunications, and technology.

Ambassador Sharvashidze thanked the Minister for the reception and presented Georgia's high-tech sector policy directions and vision, highlighting the importance of expanding and deepening cooperation with Armenia in this context.

The parties also exchanged views on organizing regional technology events and conferences, advancing education and training in the high-tech field, implementing joint programs and initiatives to support the development of the technology startup ecosystem, fostering cooperation between technology parks and incubators that promote innovation and entrepreneurship in both countries, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
