RA MHTI Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan Attended the Graduation Ceremony of the 92nd Graduates of the Polytechnic University

On July 22, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Ruben Simonyan participated in the 92nd jubilee graduation ceremony of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA).
Deputy Minister Simonyan, welcoming the attendees and congratulating the graduates on the 92nd jubilee graduation ceremony of the Polytechnic, shared the story of his decision to choose this academic institution years ago. In his speech, Ruben Simonyan touched upon the sectoral challenges and scattered professional demand at that time, emphasizing that, nevertheless, looking back, if he were to face the same choice again, he would undoubtedly choose the same path.
In his speech, Simonyan particularly noted that today, in every corner of Armenia, and especially in Yerevan, the breath of innovation is tangible, the energy that is changing our environment and shaping our future.
The Deputy Minister also urged not to fear artificial intelligence or avoid innovative technologies. “Today, the world is looking for human capital, and in this competition, the engineering profession plays a crucial role. Most importantly, firmly establish your knowledge on the fundamental base that the Polytechnic provides. That knowledge will be your reliable and stable ground. Today, we are looking for specialists like you, and I am sure that you will be the force that will shape Armenia’s innovation. Innovation will become an integral part of our national identity, and this will happen through you,” emphasized Ruben Simonyan.
The National Polytechnic University of Armenia has long served as a key institution for training high-quality specialists in the technological field. Staying true to its long-standing traditions, the NPUA continues to respond to the changing times by introducing advanced approaches, innovative solutions, and integrating the best components of international experience in education and science.
The event was honored by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Polytechnic University, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, the Rector of the Armenian Polytechnic University Gor Vardanyan, other high-ranking officials of the Republic of Armenia, representatives of the Polytechnic Alumni Association, trustees, professors, lecturers, graduates, and special guests.
