The opening ceremony of Armenia Engineering Week 2025 was held with the participation of Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia

On October 3, the opening ceremony of Armenia-Engineering Week 2025 took place at the Engineering City, with the participation of Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.

Welcoming and congratulating the attendees on the occasion of the first major official event held in the newly built High-Tech Accelerator building of the Engineering City, Minister Hayrapetyan noted that Armenia should produce its own engineering products for both the Armenian and global economies.

“It is time for us to think about having our own ‘Samsung’ and selling it to the world. Right here, in the Engineering City, science and innovation will become the foundation for new Armenian products,” the Minister noted.

Armenia-Engineering Week is an annual event in Armenia’s engineering sector, held for the ninth consecutive year. It serves as an important platform to showcase the country’s engineering potential, achievements, and vision for the future, as well as to position Armenia as a center of innovative thinking and leading technological solutions in the region.
This year, the series of events welcomed representatives of state, scientific, educational, corporate and engineering circles from different countries, promoting interdisciplinary cooperation.

During the events, engineers will introduce their latest achievements in various fields, including artificial intelligence, automotive engineering, space industry, semiconductors, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, biomedical engineering and smart manufacturing.

In parallel with the events of the first two days, technological solutions and products created by Armenian companies will also be presented in an exhibition format, highlighting the vision of the future of the engineering sector.

The series of events Armenia Engineering Week will be concluded on October 5 at the Vanadzor Technology Center, where workshops, debates and discussions will be held, highlighting the role of youth in the development of engineering and science.

The event is organized by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation and the Engineering Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and a number of state, private and international partner organizations and programs.
