ATTENTION: Flooding caused disruption in internet supply and telecommunications

Sustained heavy rainfall in Lori and Tavush regions impacted internet supply and telecommunications. Optical cables and mobile communication stations are disrupted.

The RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry is currently in emergency contact with disaster relief teams (headquarters) deployed to reduce the effects of flooding. MHTI also cooperates with the Armenian telecom operators, supporting them in dealing with challenges and obstacles.

  • Ucom - 2 stations operate in Alaverdi; 15 mobile stations are still out of order. Optical connection is not restored due to traffic disruption.
  • TEAM Telecom Armenia - 5 mobile stations are out of order. Optical connection is not restored due to traffic disruption.
  • Rostelecom (OVIO) - The network is completely restored.
  • Viva-MTS - mobile connection works in Alaverdi, 3 mobile stations are not restored (Odzun, Akori, Kachachkut).
