"Game Dev Conf: PowerPlay": Ruben Simonyan welcomed the organizers and participants of the conference

Game Dev Conf: PowerPlay conference was held in Yerevan on June 2. The goal of the conference was to discuss the most recent trends in game development.

The RA Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan welcomed the participants with opening remarks.

The Deputy Minister mentioned that a strong community is established in Armenia which has both international and Armenian fundamental experience. He also emphasized the necessity to ensure the community's integrity.

"In this context, the Ministry being accountable for the high-tech sector, is ready to contribute to strengthening cooperation among the community and to collaboration between the community and Government," Ruben Simonyan said.

The Deputy Minister noted that such events serve an important platform to discuss the recent developments in the field, contribute to generating and implementing important ideas.

Ruben Simonyan also referred to the Ministry's programmes that can be interesting and thought-provoking to the audience. The Deputy Minister specifically highlighted programs that support the startups, small and medium enterprises, academic and development capacity of employees in the sector. He added that in 2025 the MHTI will introduce new initiatives and programmes.

During the conference, thematic workshops and panel discussions were organized engaging local and international experts.
