Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan Visits Engineering City to Mark Completion of Business Accelerator Building Construction

On June 1, RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited Engineering City to observe the completion of construction works for the new Business Accelerator Building. The visit was also attended by Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Ruben Simonyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani, representatives of the Iranian construction company Tunnel Sadd Ariana, as well as residents of Engineering City.
Accompanied by Bagrat Yengibaryan, Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, Minister Hayrapetyan toured the newly built facility, familiarizing himself with the different phases of construction, the interior layout, and the building’s role as a key hub within Engineering City.
Following the tour, Bagrat Yengibaryan presented an overview of Engineering City’s core focus areas, ongoing projects, and collaborations with both local and international partners, outlining current initiatives and future development plans.
In his remarks, Minister Hayrapetyan emphasized the importance of the Business Accelerator Building as a future platform for innovation and a vibrant center for Armenia’s engineering community. He expressed his gratitude to the Ministry’s team, project partners, construction crew, and all involved stakeholders for their efforts in bringing this important phase of the project to completion. He noted that the building’s official opening will take place after the final landscaping and interior furnishing works are completed.
Ambassador Mehdi Sobhani also addressed the attendees, commending the ongoing cooperation between Iran and Armenia and congratulating all parties on the successful construction of what he described as a key technological center in Armenia.
