\"Neruzh 5.0\" Diaspora Tech Startup Program: Final Press Conference at Armenpress

Held in Dilijan from September 24-29, "Neruzh 5.0" awarded grants to six participating startups, enabling them to return to Armenia and launch their ventures. Startups were evaluated in two categories: "Idea Phase" and "Growth Phase."

During the press conference for the "Neruzh 5.0" Diaspora Tech Startup Program held in Armenpress news agency, Hayk Yengibaryan, Head of the MHTI Programs Department, jury member Rem Darbinyan, and program winner Tatul Ajamyan, discussed the program's results. Yengibaryan noted the high level of interest this year, with 64 applications from 20 countries. Following an initial evaluation, 28 startups were selected to compete in the final round in Armenia. He also highlighted the significant contribution of the international accelerator "Plug and Play" in the success of this year’s program.

Addressing the idea and concept of the program, Rem Darbinyan expressed optimism about the future success of all participants, not just the winners, thanks to the guidance provided by "Plug and Play," which he believes will help them reach global markets.

Winner Tatul Ajamyan shared his reasons for joining the program and introduced the innovative solutions offered by his project, "Sleep Doctor."

It is worth to mention that, in the "Idea Phase," the startup "Metacor" secured 1st place, followed by "Sharper Software" in 2nd, and "Ayki" in 3rd. In the "Growth Phase" category, "AnZoBio" claimed 1st place for its personalized treatments and diagnostics for rare genetic disorders, while "Moby" and "SleepDoctor" took 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
