Minister Robert Khachatryan received the newly appointed Ambassador of Luxembourg

The RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan received Alain de Muyser, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Republic of Armenia.

The Мinister welcomed and congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador, expressed his belief that there are prerequisites for effective cooperation between the two countries in the field of high technologies. Robert Khachatryan presented the main functions and development perspectives of the Ministry to the Ambassador, noted that he was impressed by Luxembourg’s experience in the sphere of space research, space industry and equipment construction.

Ambassador Alain de Muyser thanked for the reception, adding that he considers cooperation with Armenia in the fields of information technology, digitization, startup ecosystem, space activities and cyber security to be realistic.

The Ambassador also suggested to consider cooperation with Luxembourg’s “House of Startups”, which brought together innovation centers, incubators, and business accelerators under one roof.

During the meeting, the parties discussed other issues of mutual interest regarding cooperation in digitization, venture funds, fintech, blockchain technologies and other fields.
