Company visits make feel the pulse of the industry: Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visits the Grid Dynamics Armenian Office

The RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan along with Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan visited Grid Dynamics Armenian Office, one of the leading companies in Armenia.

Together with Mihran Minasyan, Director of the Armenian Office, the Minister toured the newly inaugurated office, communicated with employees and gained insight into the Company's priorities and future plans.

It was reported that Grid Dynamics Armenia cooperates with a number of well-known and global brands. Since establishing the Armenian office, 100 specialists were recruited into the Armenian team, reaching around 300. Moreover, about 4,000 sector specialists work in offices set up in 18 countries across the world.

As the meeting progressed, a number of collaboration opportunities were discussed in the context of public-private partnership. Minister Hayrapetyan underscored that such visits help keep one's finger on the pulse of the industry. The Minister introduced the Department's priorities in high tech industry and briefed the upcoming plans and vision.

The representatives of the Company, in return, emphasized that Armenia offers benefits for business development and attracting new talents. They highlighted the importance of programs contributing to the Company's growth. They also talked about problems, potential solutions, and the anticipated support from the Ministry.

Grid Dynamics is a leading provider of technology consulting, engineering, and data science services for Fortune 1000 companies. The Company offers digital transformation consulting and implementation, big data analytics, research, artificial intelligence, cloud technology implementation and services for application upgrade.

It is noteworthy that the Company started its operations in Armenia in 2022, and is already included among the 20 largest taxpayers in the Armenian IT sector.

Grid Dynamics was established in 2006, is headquartered in Silicon Valley, and has development centers in Mexico, United Kingdom, Europe and India.
