Robert Khachatryan took part in the evening dedicated to friendship between Armenia and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
At the invitation of the French Embassy in Armenia, RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan took part in the evening of friendship organized in connection with the visit of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes delegation.
The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia Anne Louyot, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of France Hasmik Tolmajian, President of the Regional Council of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes of France Laurent Wauquiez, government representatives, diplomats, high-ranking officials.
Minister Robert Khachatryan greeted those present and stressed the importance of the visit of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes delegation to Armenia.
“Successes in key areas of the Armenian-French bilateral agenda are also related to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, including cooperation between technology-oriented universities and a number of other universities in various areas of the high-tech sector, as well as the presence of the Tumo center in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional digital campus” – said Robert Khachatryan.
During the visit to Armenia, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France, according to which it is planned to develop bilateral cooperation.
