Robert Khachatryan took part in the GSMA Ministerial Program

RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan took part in the Mobile World Congress 2023 event, which was held in Barcelona, Kingdom of Spain, from February 27 to March 1.

Within the framework of the conference, Robert Khachatryan took part in the Ministerial Programme, during which the heads of sectoral departments of the participating states discussed issues related to digital inclusion and uninterrupted communication.

In the course of various discussions, the Minister presented Armenia’s sectoral achievements, main directions and development prospects, held a number of meetings with the heads of state delegations.

Robert Khachatryan emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Global System for Mobile Communications organization during a meeting with Daniel Pataki, Vice President for Policy and Regulation, head of Europe, Russia and CIS region at the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSMA).

During the visit, a meeting was also held with representatives of the Armenian community in Spain, which was attended by Deputy Minister Avet Poghosyan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Spain to the Kingdom of Spain Sos Avetisyan.

Hosted by the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSMA), the annual Mobile World Congress 2023 is one of the industry’s most prestigious and key events, bringing together the most recognized and determined representatives of the ecosystem from around the world.
