A Memorandum of Cooperation was Signed between the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Levi Semiconductors PTI

On November 11, a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) was signed between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and Levi Semiconductors PTI Ltd. The MoC outlines the Ministry's support for the production of multi-component semiconductor and silicon photonic microcircuits, marking a first for Armenia and advancing the country's technological development. This collaboration aims to localize the semiconductor industry’s value chain to foster added value, innovation, growth, and competitiveness in the field.

Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan, highlighting the Armenian Government's priority on high-tech industry development, noted that this initiative represents a significant step forward for Armenia's high-tech industry. He added that the Ministry is ready to support the program, especially in R&D initiatives, to drive innovation in semiconductor technologies, develop employee capabilities, facilitate entry into international markets, and explore cooperation with interested partners.

Amit Agrawal, Co-Founder of Levi Semiconductors LLC, shared insights into the company’s years of experience and achievements, along with perspectives related to Armenia.

The Memorandum was ratified by Ruben Simonyan, RA Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry; Levon Ohanesyan, General Director of the "Investment Support Center"; and Sevada Gyurjian, Director of Levi Semiconductors PTE LTD, registered in the Republic of Singapore.

Furthermore, the parties discussed next steps and future cooperation prospects, reaching agreements across several strategic directions.
