Deputy Minister Davit Sahakyan took part in the first France-Armenia Economic Summit
On February 24, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA Davit Sahakyan took part in the first France-Armenia Economic Summit in Paris.
During the event, Davit Sahakyan acted as a speaker, presenting the activities of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the RA within the framework of the thematic round table-discussion entitled “High-Tech Industry”.
Specifically, were addressed the privileges granted to information technology companies of the Republic of Armenia, the process of creating a national venture fund to encourage start-up investments, the format of cooperation between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the RA with incubators and accelerators in order to improve the ecosystem, train and educate specialists within the framework of cooperation between the university-private cooperation, the field events and exhibitions to be held in RA in the near future.
Within the framework of the summit, a number of participating French companies wishing to carry out economic activities in Armenia and make investments were presented with the economic potential of Armenia, directions and prospects for sectoral cooperation between France and Armenia.
The summit is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Armenia jointly with the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the framework of the “ Roadmap for Armenian-French Economic Cooperation for 2021-2026”.
