Minister Robert Khachatryan received the leadership of the RCC

On August 7, Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Robert Khachatryan received Nurudin Mukhitdinov, the Director General of the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communication (RCC), and Natalya Zorya, the Deputy Director General.

During the meeting, the issues related to the agenda of the 55/44th joint session of the Postal Communication Commission of the RCC, the Council of Postal Communication Operators and their working groups to be held in Yerevan on August 8 were discussed.

Minister Robert Khachatryan emphasized the importance of the telecommunications sector for Armenia, referred to the works and developments in that direction, presented the reforms implemented in the field of postal communication.

Nurudin Mukhitdinov presented to the Minister the functions and goals of the RCC, the works being carried out in the direction of effective cooperation between the member states.

During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of digital technologies in the field of postal communications and the effectiveness of the use of the latest communication systems were also discussed.


Robert Khachatryan wished success to the work of the RCC, expressed confidence that significant results will be recorded during the joint session to be held in Yerevan.

At the end of the meeting, Nurudin Mukhitdinov awarded certificates for active cooperation in the framework of the RCC to RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan, Deputy Minister Davit Sahakyan, Acting Head of Communications and Post Department Tsovinar Galstyan and Chief Executive Officer of “HayPost” Company Araik Abrahamyan.

It should be noted that the representatives of the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry and “HayPost” CJSC are included in the Postal Communication Commission of the RCC and the Council of Postal Communication Operators, as well as in their working groups.
