Minister Robert Khachatryan received Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev
On March 15, RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan received Bolat Imanbayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia.
The parties greeted each other, touched upon the existing cooperation in the field of high technologies, the importance of working meetings between sectoral ministries and companies, and the implementation of joint projects.
Minister Robert Khachatryan stressed that very dynamic relations have developed between the two countries in the technological field, which have great potential for development and expansion.
In turn, Ambassador Bolat Imanbayev, emphasizing the development of technological cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan, expressed his readiness to promote further effective cooperation within his powers.
During the meeting, the possibilities of increasing cooperation in the field of digitalization, technological education, space technologies and a number of other areas were discussed.
The parties also touched upon the formation of the sectoral agenda of the 9th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on Armenian-Kazakh economic cooperation, which will be held in Yerevan on April 27-28, as well as a number of issues related to the implementation of the protocol of the 8th meeting.
It was noted that within the framework of the 9th meeting of the intergovernmental commission, various topics related to information technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and space technologies will be discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the need and readiness to develop bilateral relations in the field of high technologies were reaffirmed.
