New cooperation prospects with National Instruments were discussed
On July 15, Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received Alan Solomon Vice President of Sales, EMEA at National Instruments (NI).
The Minister addressed the importance of technology development as a driving force of the Armenian economy. Moreover, he noted that Armenia has high potential to become a major player in the region.
The interlocutors talked about various prospects for expanding cooperation and implementing joint programmes. They also referred to the national policy aimed at sector development, as well as engineering education, activities advancing startup ecosystem, research and development (R&D), semiconductor design, including achievements of the Armenian companies in microelectronics, and so on.
Ways of establishing attractive investment climate in technological sector and efforts aimed at achieving such opportunities were discussed as well.
Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan and General Director of National Instruments AM Arsen Arustamyan were also present at the meeting.
